Both dogs definitely live up to their names. Liberty Bella is a free-spirited, beautiful little blue fawn girl, with eyes, nose, and paw pads that match her hair color. Obedient is not a word in her vocabulary -- you tell her to sit and she gives he a disdainful look and then flounces off. Independence "Indy" Blue is a dark blue, independent, stubborn little cuss, who always wants to have his own way but doesn't always accomplish it because his older sister is very much the alpha dog in this household. Indy is one of the most vocal dogs I have ever had the pleasure to know -- he makes the most interesting burbles and whines, and when he yawns he makes a meow sound like a cat.
Both dogs definitely have trouble holding their "licker," and love to give dual action facial massages. Several times each day they manage to do something that brings a smile to my face or makes me laugh out loud. I love them dearly.
