Anyone help this poor dog in MO?

28 March 2010 - 03:25 PM

Happened upon this add today on Craigslist I copied the text so you can read it. Check out the link for a pic. Its so sad- shes such a doll.

"Emily Ann is her name. She is 5 months old on the 31st of this month. I love her to death, but she is going to be the death of me. She requires alot of attention. She is HADICAPPED in her back legs. These little breed's sometimes are born this way. She can walk on them between walking and draging she gets along just fine. She CAN NOT jump up or go up stairs. She can jump down from thing's. So when she is wanting up in your lap she whines. These breed's don't like loud noises or rain or cold weather. She needs to be an inside dog.Very spoiled already she sleeps in bed with me. When I bought her they would not give me her papers because she CAN NOT BREED there is no way she could ever push babies out. She Knows only one command. That is, go in your house. She loves her pink house. She also has seperation anxiety. I have to put her in her kennel when we go somewere..She like to undo the toilet paper roll if we leave her out. Not going to lie on her she is alot of work. Potty Training is not going to well she will pee on a puppy pad but not pop. I want her to go to a good home.Someone that has knowledge of little breed's like her. Please don't respond if you are wanting a first time puppy. I have put right around 75 dollars in her forher house, vacinations, wormer and food,She eat's Iam's. Any other food we have tryed gives her the run's. She will come with her little pink house and some food to get started and some paperwork on how to take care of her. The little chihuahua in the picture is not for sale she belongs to my mom. "

(PS - I just emailed her a link to the Italian Greyhound Rescue of Springfield,MO- I hope she does the right thing)
