Just wanted everyone to know that Toby seems a little better this morning. It is amazing what some rest, food and pain meds will do. I carried him outside this morning and walked around a bit, which was better than yesterday. Then he must have proceeded to climb the stairs by himself. Again, something that he could not do yesterday. Now he is back asleep. I have a feeling that he will be sleeping for a while... probably didn't for the past 11 days.

Anyway, thank you all again. I will try to keep you updated of his progress.

Thank you everyone! Toby is home!!! :big_whohoo:

He is absolutely exhausted and a bit hungry. He has lost about 4 or 5 lbs, which as Linda can tell you, is not bad for my dogs (they are a bit on the large side). His feet are badly blistered and he has some scratches or something on his tummy. Took him to the vet and they ran his bloodwork and did skin tests. Will have the results in a few days but they gave him antibiotics and anti-inflamatories. He does not want to be out of eyesight with me poor little guy!

Anyway, thank you all for all of your great ideas, thoughts and prayers! We really appreciate it!

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I do not have any news to report. I set up the trap for the past two nights. Last night I caught a baby possum. He was not too happy with me this morning.

Thanks for your suggestion Vicki. I actually did throw the poop over our fence into the berm area. Then we took Socks, our other male out with us looking for Toby. I think that he tried to pee on everything he possibly could. Unfortunately nothing has worked so far. I guess that we will just have to wait and see.

I spoke with Linda tonight. We are going to set the trap tomorrow behind my house near the berm. I just hope that he finds it. Everytime my other iggies bark my hubby and I run to look and see if he is outside. I am so sad and feel like I let him down by letting him get loose.

I will let everyone know if we find him.

Thank you.
