I am crying right now and in absolute shock. Did they know why?! I wish I were there to comfort you... Sending all the love possible. Know that your sweet baby no longer is suffering and can play like a puppy at the bridge...

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. I know that no words can help with this pain, but know we are here for you. Flex is finally free from the pains and hindrances that his body had been building up, and is now running unburdened, looking forward to the time he will be reunited with you once again.

How handsome- I can see Riley in him! But how sad; 10 is so soon to lose one of these sweet guys. Sending prayers to your breeder during this hard time.

#147998 New Christmas Jammies

Posted by b00ph3tt3 on 17 December 2013 - 01:24 PM

Gracie looks so lovely and warm in her new jammies! And the charm is adorable, tho I think Bonnie would try to eat it if it were her jammies, as she always tries to eat her collar tags lol. Gracie, you have such style and GRACE in your new attire! ;)

#147848 Thank You for our wonderful gifts!

Does the pattern have a chart or is it written instructions? If its a chart I can knit it. I just cannot get even tension with crochet, its pretty pathetic. Someday, I'll find someone who can sit down with me and tell me what I'm doing wrong haha. I know what you mean, Ravelry is addicting.

It was a written out pattern... Sorry! I am horrible with knit, but managed to teach myself crochet. ;) It's hard to tell from afar, but you actually create the head first, change colors for the nose and fasten off. Then you make the ears, attach them to the head, and then attache the whole thing on your square, so it's several small pieces.

...I'm a bit confused about the IG square, can someone point it out tome? Great SS too, cheers Deb

Sorry, Deb- I usually take pictures of my various creations up close but in my excitement to send off the SS box, I totally forgot to do close up pics of the hat and the IG square, or I would attach a larger one so you could see what the square is.

I am so glad you liked everything! I had so much fun picking things out for your iglets and making things for you all! In our house you can't get enough blankets (even in the ridiculous summer heat!) and of course, toys are always fun!

That hat is genius!!!! And I love that IG square. Please tell me there is a pattern for that!!

Elisabeth, did you follow a pattern for the iggy square?

I did use a pattern, kind of. I came across this crochet pattern on Ravelry and gave in and bought it because I thought I could adapt it in several ways. The hat and the flower collars I freestyled- the hat was a complete experiment, so I am glad it worked out! And if it makes Neo feel better, Bonnie and Minka weren't too excited about being my test subjects with it either with I was trying to figure out sizing. ;)

And if anyone is curious about the homemade doggie treats, I got it from Pinterest here! (Ravelry and Pinterest... my unhealthy website addictions...) My dogs love it, and it seems pretty easy to adapt if your pups have allergies.

Oh man, Alessia, sorry. I guess this will be a great measure of self-control! ;) I am excited to see what great goodies all your pups get, even if it is in a few days!

AAAAAHHHHH DON'T WAIT! WE ALL WANT TO SEE! I think it would be TORTURE to sit with that adorable box unopened for a whole WEEK!

#147687 Thank you, Zez!

Thanks to Sarah (and Belle and Nico from afar!) for our great gifts. The pups are enjoying them immensely!

Please tell the kids thank you for the greyt pictures they added in the box; they were lovely.

The card was funny, and we loved the blankets. It has been really cold the past few days here (like, 20s-30s when we are usually 60s!) so the dogs got temporarily excited about the box and gifts, but then retreated back to the blankets. Bonnie was wearing a nice fleecy sweater, so she was a little more adventurous and played more with the toys immediately! All the dogs adore the squirrel in particular.

The dogs got to play with the treat puzzle today, and it was great! (We have to wait until the toddler goes down for a nap or else I'm sure she'd go right along with trying to get treats out of it, too!)

Thanks again for our box- we enjoyed it!

Yay! I am just so glad you got it! And take your time- I completely get being tired- we have had guests staying with us for the past several days and things have been crazy here, too!
