I have been attending dog shows as a spectator and exhibitor for over 40 years. I am a retired management analyst who has advised multiple organizations affiliated with the AKC and the Cat Fanciers Association on business management, long range planning, customer service, and legislative matters. After 25 years of living in the big cities of New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, I now reside in my hometown of Memphis, TN.
I have owned and shown a St Bernard, several Maltese, & a Sealyham. My wife and I currently have two Toy Poodles ( ages 17 & 6), a Scottie (age six), a Cairn (age three). Only the Cairn has ever seen the inside of a show ring. A five month old IG show prospect will join the household on May 28. We attend 35-40 shows a year all over the US.
I started seriously researching Italian Greyhounds in early 2010. Somehow, I just discovered this forum. As my signature attests, I hope to never stop learning. This forum seems like a good place to learn even more about this great breed.
