Wendy & Molly

Wendy and Molly are 6 yrs old and about 9lbs each. They were adopted from a rescue in IL and recently turned back in due to their owner getting a new job and not having enough time for them. They are now in IG rescue. They have had some teeth pulled in the past and need another dental. They are both very sweet and will let you know when they are hungry by checking out the food bin. hahaha They both will take care of their duties outside, but have had a couple accidents in the house (we just haven't recognized their signals yet). They both will go into the crate nicely, but someone doesn't keep it clean. (We aren't sure which one yet b/c they have been crated together.) Wendy & Molly can be adopted apart or together. I think Wendy would do best with another calm dog in the house, but she gets along just fine with Molly. I haven't seen them play together, but they love to cuddle! Molly will be just fine with another playful little dog in the house or by herself. They both are missing some hair (Wendy more so than Molly), most likely due to alopecia.
Wendy (a.k.a. Long Legs) is tall and slender. She is timid and unsure by nature. She is not fearful or scared, just timid. She likes to keep an eye on things, but will settle on the couch under some blankies. Her ears are permanently folded forward and have little hair on them. Wendy does like to get attention, but is not a cuddle bug. She has begun to play with Chloe and rather enjoys herself I think. She's not so sure about squeekys though.
Molly (Little Miss Thang) is short and compact. She thinks she has been living with us (I mean we've been living w/her) since she was born! She loves tummy rubs, stuffies and squeekys and of course running in the house/yard and playing with Chloe. As soon as she is under a blanket she is out like a light!

"One of the unspoken truths of American life is how deeply people grieve over animals who live and die
with them, how real the emptiness is, how profound is the silence these creatures leave in their wake."
