PERMISSION TO CROSS-POST

I was just notified about a 13 year old male IG who is missing in the Normandy Isles area of North Miami Beach. He has been missing for a few days. Orion is 13 years old, completely blind, and tan in color. His white eyes, as a result of his blindness, are his defining feature.

If anyone hears anything, or anyone in the area sees him please contact me at patrice.igrescue@gmail.com.

I bet he shows up at a shelter. Hopefully someone posted on Craigs List as well. Hope he is found safely, poor baby.

I was contacted by a friend of the owner. I advised her that they should check shelters, post flyers everywhere and post on Craigslist. Hopefully this boy will find his way home soon!

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

No word since the owner's friend emailed me early yesterday, and at that point there were still no sightings. I am so worried about this boy, because he is blind. I hope I have good news to share soon.

Normandy Isles is actually on a little island with another community and a golf course. He can't have gone far!

That's good to know. I don't know that area, so I had no idea. I also figured he probably wouldn't roam too far because he can't see where he is going. Someone has to have found him, and just not know how to find his owner. I don't even know if he was wearing tags, I asked and I'm waiting for a response.

An island surrounded by...water....not good for a dog that can't see.
