Well, just have to write more about my little foster guy, the adorable Raymond, AKA North Bay Ray. Those who saw the earlier thread will recall that the little guy arrived here very frightened of people and slow to thaw. I am happy to say that day six finds him a very happy, relaxed and affectionate guy who follows me everywhere. He is still leery of my husband, but we hope that the continual shower of treats that he receives from him will break down those barriers. He was dropped at a shelter for housebreaking issues, but as so often seems to be the case, I just don't see the problem. The little guy has only had one small accident- he goes right to the door when he needs to go. You could not ask for a better housebreaking student. What a terrific little guy he is.

oh, he is cute....."housebreaking" issues...that's always the excuse that foster homes just don't see half the time...and that's because the foster home is on a schedule (lets the dog out on a regular basis and doesn't crate the dog for 12 hours out of a day) and pays attention to what the foster IG needs. Thank you for taking Ray in and providing him with a home to make him be successful.

Awww,he looks so cute in every picture. And I can tell why you were wondering about his color. He sure has interesting color of coat. I think it's my first time to see the color. So beautiful. I'm glad he is getting used to be at your home. spikey_biggrin.gif

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Don't you just love to see the transformation of a well cared for and loved Iggy?! I'm sure with treats from the hubby he will come around and be his best friend in no time. He has a little twinkle in his eye in this picture and I'm sure the family that adopts him will appreicate his personality and be one lucky family!!!
