Well, for those of you that saw the picture of Willow aka Sally, I was supposed to foster her. Unfortunately, last weekend, she was running and stepped into a rut and broke BOTH front legs. She was emergency transported to West Virginia for surgery, and from there, I'm not sure who will be fostering her. I can't take her because I can't leave her crated for all the hours that I work during the day, and I have no opportunity to check on her during the day. spikey_sad.gif

In the meantime, another little girl, named Aster has come into rescue. She was found wandering the streets of Columbus, Ohio. She's not full blooded iggy......she a Chiggy. She looks to be older, and currently she'll be getting vetted on Friday and I'll get her in another week. I guess it really doesn't matter who comes to the Berry house, just as long as we find them forever homes..... dance_for_joy.gif

Without further ado.......I give you Miss Aster! spikey_tongue2.gif

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

I bet Sally went to Dr. Brown in West Virginia. He'll take good care of her. He did Allie's luxating patella surgeries and what a wonderful job he did. We drove 13 hours to get to him for those surgeries. I sure hope Sally finds a great forever home. She is so cute.

Aster is a cutie, too! I like the name. She'll do great with the Berry bunch.

Poor Will.....I knew one person whose IG broke both legs at the same time and she recovered great. I hope Willow has the same outcome.

Aster is an itty bitty girl...so cute. It's nice that Rescue will help an IG mix.

I also know someone who's IG broke both front legs at the same time, and he healed well. Poor Sally, I hope she has an easy recovery.

Aster is a cutie, I'm sure she'll find a home in no time.
