Here's little Miss Willow. I will be picking her up either Friday after work or on Saturday.

I don't have too many details, other than she is being turned over by her owner because people have complained about her being noisy in the apartment complex during the day while her owner is away. Apparently they have tried working with her, but to me it sounds like she's lonely, and coming to a home with other animals might be the best thing for her. (She won't be lonely here......lol)

She's 3 years old, cute as can be and up to date on all her shots. I have a feeling she won't be with me long, to tell you the truth. With a face like that, she's going to be hard to resist!!!! beatingheart.gif

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Oh, what a precious baby she is! Allie used to scream when I was at work and she was alone. I was fortunate that the people in my apartment complex were patient with her until I got Riley to keep her company. If they hadn't been patient, I would've moved instead of giving her up, though. I hope Willow finds a wonderful forever home very soon.

oh my...what a doll..she reminds me of my Zoey. My Mea was given up for the same reason, after she was adopted out as a stray. She was kept crated all day and the neighbors complained.....in 2 weeks she was back at the shelter. I got her a few days later.

You're right...she def won't last long.

As it turns out, I might not get her after all. There are three applications that want females, and she might be placed right away...... Good for her, but sad for the Berry Bunch spikey_mellow.gif

What a precious face!! It is a little sad that you might not get to foster her (sounds like you could help her out not being so lonely), but it's great that she has 3 potential famlies that might want to adopt her already!! Hope one of them will be a perfect match for her.

It's sad for the Berry bunch that you might not get to foster her, but it would be nice for her not to have to make 2 transitions. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her.

I have to agree!! She looks very similar to Zoey =) She is a beauty!!

So sad you won't be able to foster her but at least it means a new rescue can come into your life and she would find a forever home =D

Dittos to those that said it before, if she can be adopted out right away (and with that face - I can understand!), she can just "Go Home" and not have two transitions.
I am sure she will find a happy home with other iggies for company!
