There was a little blue IG girl found in Northeast Kansas City who has been hit by a car. She is friendly and can be stabalized. IG Rescue is looking to locate the owner as we believe she may have slipped out a door or fence. If you know of a lost IG in this area please contact IGCA Rescue Rep Deb Pankau in St Joe for more information.

Did you check craigs list, local papers, or the shelters for any missing IG reports? Hope she finds her way home

She was found yesterday or today from my understanding. Another volunteer posted a message on Craig's List already, and they have contacted some of the larger lost pet services in hopes of finding her owners. We are splitting up some of the tasks to ensure we get everything covered.

If anyone would like to help with this girl's cost you can contact Deb or myself also.

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

She's fortunate that she lived after being hit by a car. I lost my Tara to a car. I sure hope her owners can be located and that she recovers well.
