Well, Gretchen (now named Nina) is thriving in her new foster home. I'm so happy for her and her new family. It makes the pain of saying goodbye, once they've wormed their way into you heart, worth it!!!! cupidgirl.gif

The first picture is of her right after she came into foster care. She was soooo skinny.

Today, she has a little girl that adores her, and from what I'm told, the feeling is mutual.

Nina looks so fine now. It must be so hard for you to say good bye. But looking at 2nd picture,I must say your good bye leads to her happiness at her new home. I hope she will get tons of love from them.

And her mother is a dog trainer, so how cool is that. Gretchen hit the jackpot!!!!! A couple people have met up with them at the dog parks over in Columbus and said that Miss Gretchen, I mean Miss Nina, is really happy!!! I'm just so happy for her. I was really worried about letting her go because she had some separation issues, but after turning down a few prospects for her, I was really happy with this new forever home for her. dance_for_joy.gif

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.
