Yesterday I posted about my sad little foster who had just been dropped off. By the end of the evening he was doing a lot better, having been sweet talked and bribed with hamburger by me, loved up by my husband, and sniffed and wagged over by the pack. Today he is doing pretty well. He enjoyed going to the dog park and running with a jack russell, then rolling on a fragrant dead worm.
His name is Trus, but I am calling him Tris (for Tristan) since Trus sounds like the device you use to secure a hernia. I believe he is about five (would you believe I forgot to check his release form before sending it off to my rep- duh) and he is the most lovely little blue fawn guy. I think he would make a splendid match for Nana's Okara- they have similar faces.
Here is a soulful looking picture I took this afternoon.

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Oh he is so handsome. I'm very happy to hear that he's feeling more at home.

I like Tris much better too. What a sweet and handsome little dog-man. He would be hard to pass up if you were looking to add an IG to your family.

Yes, you should, Fonda! When will you be here? spikey_tongue2.gif
Of course all iggies are wonderful, but this guy is exceptionally beautiful, sweet, and well mannered. And he has the softest coat I have ever felt- makes my soft little guys feel like terriers in comparison. Whoever takes him home will be getting a serious prize.

He looks very sweet..and comfy on your couch. How confusing it must be for him.....but he will adjust and get into a new routine. I bet he loved the dog park.

Thanks goodness I am on the other side of the country or I would be in serious danger of adding another pup to my pack. I hope that Tris finds a wonderful home very soon.
