Shasta McNasty is the first pet that I ever owned. We lived together for 3 years very happily after I adopted her from a vetrinarian office. Then I broke up with my Boyfriend and had to move out. He said he didnt want to keep the cat and I didn't have anywhere for her to live, I moved back in with my parents and they made her live in a shed, a few months later i had my first date with Daniel and he felt bad for her and offered to let Shasta stay with him and his cat. They did not get along, Shasta had never been able to socialize with other animals. Shasta claimed the bedroom and K2 claimed the living room, we moved in with Daniel's parents about a year later and Shasta couldn't handle having dogs and a cat around. We bought Starbuck and by the time we moved inot our new house Shasta was miserable. She sits in a chair and does nothing all day. She used to sleep in bed with me and cuddle me all the time, she used to follow me to the bathroom and talk to me. Now she does nothing. I love her, but I am beggining to understand that she needs a home with no other animals. I've sent out a message to all my friends to try and find her a new home. I contacted the vet office where I got her and they said that if I cannot find her a suitable home that I need to bring her back to them by Wednesday. I love you little Shasta and I hope that you're life will be easier, I'm sorry for the hardships that I've put you through, I'm letting you go so that you can be happy..

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

I'm sorry you're going through this, Catherine. How sad...I can't imagine letting one of my kitties go. I sure hope little Shasta will find a peaceful, happy home.

awww......how sad...I'm so sorry Catherine. Hopefully, you will be able to find Shasta a home she can be comfortable in.
