Well, it has been 7 months since foster Bayleigh came into our lives and she is still not finding her family. spikey_sad.gif Only one person showed any interest enough to have a home visit and meet Miss B, but then felt Miss B was "not the right one". Cry.gif So here she continues to grow and learn how to trust humans. So much that now instead of sleeping on top of the bed covers at night, she slips into the crook of my left armpit and snuggles in for the night only waking early in the morning to actually slipping under the covers with the 4-pack.

She has come a long way from the zoned-out dog that I picked up from the animal shelter back in March. She now plays with ours, sleeps with them during the day, "demands" her meals (LOL) and is generally a delight. We do not know her real birthday, but since she was suppose to be about 6 when I picked her up and she was turned into the shelter on St.Patrick's Day AND I named her Bayleigh, I figure March 17th is good enough for this special girl. Hopefully she will be with her REAL family on her next birthday. dance_for_joy.gif

I am sure the right home is out there for Miss B....just a matter of timing. In the meantime, she is so lucky to have you as her foster mom!

That has to be so hard for you....to have a foster that long.....I'd be a hopeless foster failure. I guess the perfect family has just not come along.
