Just got a message from Roxann Bailey our So Cal Rescue rep that Brutus Bailey went to the Rainbow Bridge. Here is her message to me

"Brutus has gone to run and play ball in the sunshine on the other side.
Born March 1992, he had a wonde...rful long life as the reigning patriarch of the
Bailey pack from 10/24/1992 to 10/16/2009. He was our first Italian Greyhound
and the reason we are in Rescue today. His passing was gentle, peaceful and
full of love.

Here is a photo of our buddy Brutus taken last year at our Halloween costume party fundraiser for rescue.

RIP Brutus!

Brutus was a really cool old soul. Last few years he was blind; but still managed his way around the dog park each weekend! wub.gif Long good he did have. . We will miss him. I printed his photo's and have a candle lit so his path to the bridge is brightly lit! Follow the lights Brutus!

So sorry to hear of Brutus' passing. Run free, sweet boy.....you'll have many iggy friends waiting for you when you arrive in heaven. My warmest thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time of loss. Heaven has one more angel to watch over us cupidboy.gif

Brutis sounded like a wonderful iggy and was very handsome. He was so loved and my thoughts go out to the family. He will live on in everyones hearts that knew him.

We are going to have a very nice tribute to Brutus at the Guido Party next week. Brutus certainly was an old, wise and sweet iggy. I am glad he will be there to show Guido the ropes when it is his turn! wub.gif

I just joined this forum and saw this post. I jist want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to his loving family. Yesterday was 3 mo that I lost my Millie and her 5 preemie puppies. I still have great sorrow dealing with her untimely passing.
