Hi all,

I have been emailing with Stephanie at Triangle Italian Greyhound Rescue of NC and have her approval to pass along this news. They have recently rescued 5 dogs that a breeder turned in to an animal shelter. They are gorgeous and range in age from 6 months to 6 years. They also have 2 other dogs and another owner surrender on the way. If you are interested in adopting and are within driving distance of Pittsboro, NC (outside of Raleigh), please take a look at their website, http://tigresq.tripod.com/index.html.

Very cute pups. I just do not have the land for them. If I did I would probably be considered a hoarder.

They are all so adorable. I agree, why in the world would a so-called breeder turn over their dogs to a shelter?? I am in love with Embark though! He looks like a gentle sweet soul. So precious! If I didn't just get Mason, I would apply for him!

Yes, I was very surprised, to put it mildly, that a breed would turn them in to an animal shelter when they would have to know there was a rescue in the area. Then I thought, maybe the breeder died and the heir turned them in and just wasn't aware of the rescue. I guess there could be legitimate reasons. Farina is just so elegant and Embark looks like such a sweet gentleman. If Bella wasn't in daycamp so much, I'd adopt one or both, but she is and I can't afford another dog.
