Crossposting (too many times we hear this, so sad)

am begging for some help please. My son and I drove today from Louisville,
KY to Murfreesboro, TN to take his sweet 5 year old Italian Grey Hound to
her new home. My son lives out on his own and has recently taken a job that
requires him to travel Mon through Fri, which left this active dog pretty
much alone. He could not stand it so he searched and searched until he found
what we thought was the perfect home...with older children who would love
and play with her. Right as we got back home tonight, he received a call
that she got out the front door of her new home and they were unable to
catch her and now cannot find her. She is probably scared to death and feels
abandoned. She could freeze out there tonight and we need help. PLEASE.is
anyone in that area or can spread the word to someone in that area??? We are
trying everything we know to try and find Tessa. She is wearing a
purple collar with her name and my son's information..Jeff Warner
502-637-9354. She is wearing a khaki colored coat...thank God, but that
won't keep her warm forever. Please help in any way you can. She took off
around 6:00 CST, I think tonight in Murfreesboro.
