  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

After I lost Corey and Kirby, I went to Shutterly.com, and made what I call a memory book. In it I put in it all the pictures that I liked and I wrote in it the things that I loved about them, like I loved how Corey would butt punch me etc, etc. Then at the end wrote a letter to each dog thanking them for being a part of my life. I made two of these books, they are very personal to me, but I felt they helped me get thru the grieving process.

Great idea! I've used Shutterfly a lot too. If you use the code "NEWYEAR" you can get up to 50% off their photobooks right now, too. I think the code is good until Tuesday... They frequently have lots of 30%-40% sales as well, so if you aren't ready now, you can still keep an eye out for a good deal.

What beautiful photos of a beautiful girl. I love how each photo is so different and shows her character. I love the custom photo frame too.

When my Cookie died, I had her cremated into a custom wooden box with a brass engraved plaque. Then I bought a heart necklace that you could fill with her ashes so she'll always be close to my heart. That definitely helped me through the grieving process. She also sits next to my bed.
