So I was the happiest girl alive today seeing photos from Heidi of my babies enjoying their presents.

For those who don't know the back story, I am currently living in the US and my babies are living with their foster parents in the UK. So it's a long distance thank you from me!!!!!

Heidi (the foster mum) a massive thank you. She was delighted With the presents and so touched that all her dogs had their own gifts too.

So...the haul

A fiendish looking puzzle and biscuits for the humans. Two beautiful charms for Belle. Stuffies galore, a rope tug, cookies for the dogs and kangaroo treats!!!

So it looks like a fab time was had by all!! Awesome gifts. Thank you xxxxxxxxxxx

In other IG news, Belle is now letting Heidi pick her up whenever and actually obeying Heidi's commands (b is v icky about who she will listen to) so that's a sure sign that she loves Heidi now. phew!!!! Imagine fostering a dog for 2 years who doesn't like you!!! I'm secretly glad I wasn't usurped in Belle's affections too quickly, but super glad for Heidi that Belle loves her now too. Xxx

This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

That is just wonderful.I know you are missing your babies like crazy. But so very lucky to have someone that takes such good care of them. I was wondering could you to Skype with them. The kids might or might not recognize you ,but you could at least get to see them in real time and talk with them:)We did that before Emma came to us . I have to say she did not seem to pay any attention to us or our voice ,But we got to see her. She does not seem to recognize her breeder over the phone. But we do want to try Skype and see how she reacts. She was with Patty the first year and a half of her life. She may at least notice her brother Ben.:)
I am glad you did the Secret Santa!!

Thanks for posting the photos Sarah and also thanks to Heidi. I'm glad that everyone had a good time, SS is always a challenge for me due to posting OS, got to go for lightweight stuff! Did I address those both little tags to Belle? Because one was for Nico, from memory Belle's was the smaller one, I figured she could wear it on her harness as I know she doesn't wear a collar - although I see she wears one indoors. I had an anxious moment when I went to check on the names of all the spaniels and discovered I'd missed one Posted Image back to the shops, and then I lost track of who I'd wrapped and addressed a present too - needed a G&T after that little lot, but at least I discovered the mistake before I taped the box up! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all, cheers Deb

Heidi was super touched that you had all her spaniels by name Deb!

Heidi thought both the tags said Belle, but she said it was such chaos anything could have happened!!! I'm sure she'll let the, both have a try. They both wear house collars in case of escape so could wear them all the time!

We keep meaning to FaceTime but its either first thing n the morning (manic trying to get the kids to school) or then Heidi goes to work. Hoping for a chance this weekend or next but Heidi keeps me fully up to date with their exploits. Don't think they would recognize our voices (belle doesn't even acknowledge my dad on face time and she LOVES him) but I'd love to see them all x

Hey Sarah, tell Heidi, the smaller, 'girly' one was Belle's, the other is Nico's, although I think that had a bit of pink bling on it. Oh well, he's probably manly enough to cope with that. Hope you get to Skype of FaceTime with your babies soon, cheers Deb
