  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Today is the 5 year anniversary of the day I lost my precious Tara girl. I can't believe I have been without her for five years. I would appreciate it if you all held your IGs tightly and kissed them one extra time today in memory of my beautiful girl. If you don't know her story, you can find it here: http://www.igrescuei...og/Tara-Shayer/

I loved that little girl with all of my heart and I'm still crushed that she is gone. I love to reminisce about the good times with her, but on this anniversary, it is hard not to remember that awful day that she had to leave me.

I love you to pieces, Tara girl and I will see you again at the Bridge.
Regards from Deb, Allie (6/1/07), and Riley (2/20/09)

My thoughts are with your broken heart today. The pain never leaves completely. It seems it just sleeps and then awakens in time to keep the memory alive.

I wish there was some magic that could take the pain away. It is away's hard when we lose those that we love. But when it is so sudden violent and unexpected I know that the pain is worse. Hug you babies cry your tears and know that she loved you.

Tara's story is so sad. I am glad that you have your good memories. She was so beautiful and much too young to leave you.
