2 years ago today my little Maggie Moo was helped across the bridge by me. After 3 months of trying to find out what was wrong with her, including 2 visits to Michigan State University Vet Hospital we were told she had Gastric Carcinoma (stomach cancer) and by that time was already in the end stages of it.

We decided she had suffered enough and I held her as she crossed.

Miss you everyday baby girl!

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Machelle, you are in my thoughts and prayers on this difficult day. Although these little ones bring us unbounding joy, they leave gigantic holes in our hearts when they leave us and the anniversaries are so hard. Maggie was fortunate to have you accompany her on her journey to the Bridge.
Regards from Deb, Allie (6/1/07), and Riley (2/20/09)

I am so sorry for your loss. Maggie Moo was beautiful. I lost my Fig to gastro-intestinal cancer as well.
