You have been an angel to keep them as you have! They have been so lucky to stay with you, and I am sure the right family will find them soon enough! Enjoy your travels and be safe!

#153836 Razzo, our boy and heart 11/21/2014

Posted by b00ph3tt3 on 21 November 2014 - 09:58 AM

I am so heartbroken for you. Razzo was so lucky to have such loving parents in his life and you gave him the BEST care. He lived a very full, spoiled, and wonderful life. Holding my iglets a little closer today, and we are sending you all the love and hugs possible. Run carefree and whole at the bridge, Razzo. feelbetter.gif sosad.gif

Glad to hear Boo is back where she belongs--with you. And I just want to say I love your last picture of her; she looks absolutely so content and loved. Every dog deserves a momma half as good as you were to that sweet girl! feelbetter.gif

My heart sank when I saw this post. :( Your Boo had an amazing life with you, and you did everything possible to help her though this trying end. Now she can enjoy limitless amounts of Alpha B*tch stew, French fries, etc, and run and play like the pup she wanted to be without her health problems. Sending you lots of love right now.

*hugs* The brain cyst sounds like a very likely scenario, and would help explain some of the behavior changes above and beyond the normal stress dogs face with a lot of the changes that had happened to her. But I think the best thing to remember is that she got to spend her last days with the family that loved her the most, and for any dog, that's crucial. Wishing you comfort and healing while you continue to work through this time. Lulu's and your story were close to my heart, and I still find it so hard to believe she is gone. :(

Oh, Doreen, I am so sorry to see this. :( Poor sweet Sadie. I hope she is enjoying her time at the Bridge playing unhindered by any health issues now. Sending lots of love and iggy kisses your way.

So sad that you couldn't leave it up longer, but I am glad you have a lovely place full of good memories with your Gracie girl to honor her memory!

Poor, sweet boy and his family. At least he is no longer in pain and now can play and enjoy himself at the Bridge. Prayers for his family during this difficult time. :(

Her owner isn't open to it, she wants the $$, that's why I'm so worried about her.

Yeah, that's what I figured when I saw her asking price. Poor thing. IG pups can be a whole different ball game if you aren't prepared for the breed!

#148579 A Photo Tribute to Grace Kellie Koklich (Gracie)

Posted by b00ph3tt3 on 02 January 2014 - 09:19 AM

Great idea! I've used Shutterfly a lot too. If you use the code "NEWYEAR" you can get up to 50% off their photobooks right now, too. I think the code is good until Tuesday... They frequently have lots of 30%-40% sales as well, so if you aren't ready now, you can still keep an eye out for a good deal.

After I lost Corey and Kirby, I went to Shutterly.com, an me what I call a memory book. In it I put in it all the pictures that I liked and I wrote in it the things that I loved about them, like I loved how Corey would butt punch me etc, etc. Then at the end wrote a letter to each dog thanking them for being a part of my life. I made two of these books, they are very personal to me, but I felt they helped me get thru the grieving process.
