A Tribute to Gracie from Deb, Allie and Riley.

Attached File  Tribute to Gracie 002.JPG   27.72KB   2 downloads

There is a story behind these bookends. Deb had got one for her SS this year but by accident a second one also came. I had mentioned how much I liked them and asked were she got them.(can never find any think IG in my area) Deb said she would sell the extra set to me. Yesterday I thought about them and that I would need to message Deb that I did not want them any more. Then this morning a UPS truck pulls up in front of my home. Renee (my roommate) and I both said we did not order anything. When I went out to get the box there it was a box with dog paw print tape on it. And then to open it up and see the bookends. What a wonderful, thoughtful, loving gift.
Deb I know I've said it already but thank-you from the bottom of my broken heart.

That is such a beautiful tribute to your beautiful girl! And, I believe you do need them. After all, you are still an Iggy mommy to Gracie, and an honorary auntie to all of our Iggies.

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Gerri, if anybody ever needed those bookends, it is you! It didn't take me a single heartbeat to make that decision when I heard of Gracie's passing. I knew they needed to get to you and pronto. I'm just glad they made it before the holiday. You have a special place in my heart. Don't ever leave IGW!
Regards from Deb, Allie (6/1/07), and Riley (2/20/09)
