Gino, who is in the care of Italian Greyhound Place, is a calm, gentle boy who spends most of the day relaxing on a soft cushion, but also loves to explore the fenced yard, and go for walks. He is very non-demanding, but enjoys being given attention and cuddles. Gino is fine with other dogs, travels nicely by car, and is crate trained. He is housetrained, although he should be watched, especially until he acclimates to his new surroundings.

Getting himself to a standing position is a bit difficult for Gino, so an area rug or carpet where his cushion (s) are would be ideal. Since being on supplements, losing a small amount of weight (he weighs twenty-two pounds), and exercising, Gino is getting around much better and is not in pain. Due to missing all of his teeth, Gino appreciates soft food. He does have some vision and hearing loss, and arrived here with other medical concerns, including benign prostatic hypertrophy, that have been addressed by Italian Greyhound Place. This guy, who turned eleven this past July, was spending his existence in a crate and not being well-taken care of. He was quite despondent, and the change in him is heartwarming. If you would like to provide Gino a forever home with lots of love, please respond to this listing or go to http://www.italiangreyhoundplace.com
