A couple IGs in Florida from CL, the first one anyway, must have been a holiday gift. 16 weeks old. Oh my, is FL the home of unwanted dogs?

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

Ugh...those poor, poor dogs. I sure hope that the people who get them are familiar with the needs of the breed.

She looks exactly like the little seal pup I got off CL about 1.5 years ago...now living with a great family

I just "love" the one that says they are getting "rid" of him because he's not neutered and they have femoales! DUH! Get him neutered!

Help Roco find a Home!(Italian Greyhound) (Orange Park Fl)

Roco is a 2yr old well behaved dog, gets along with EVERYBODY, cats, dogs,children...ect have to get rid of him because we have females and he's not fixed!.....interested?....call Lisa @ 904-375-1103....and pick up!

Makes me sick. His not being fixed is just an excuse.

What sickens me even more is how some of these people have the nerve to ask for a rehoming fee. If I adopted/bought a woggie it's because I'm an animal lover. If, for some reason, things didn't work out my main concern would be finding a loving home for the woogie, not getting a rehoming fee.

I could understand if the rehoming fee was listed simply to weed out people looking for a "free dog" but it genuinely seems that people charge a rehoming fee to make money off of a pet that they don't want any more, and that is what really makes me angry.

About 1.5 years ago, I bought an IG puppy that a girl got from her boyfriend, on CL, for $150......her Dad made her move out of the house with the puppy because he didn't want a dog in the house....so the girl moved in with a girlfriend and her family. She had her fee at $200, but I talked her down in the price, assuring her the pup would have a good home...I hate CL
