Four years ago today, I lost my Corey girl. She was fourteen and had lived a very loved and spoiled life. She was my introduction to this beautiful breed. She was full of personality, I swear that she was part human sometime. She was super smart and a little pest sometimes, but I loved that about her. She was a biggy iggie ,she stood 17" tall , but that was okay to me cause there was more of her to love. She is now resting in a beautiful marble cube on my fireplace mantel next to her brother Kirby.

I lost Kirby three years ago on July 21st, he was just the sweetest little guy there was (though he thought he was a tough guy) .He spent his life well loved and spoiled too. And tormented by Corey, she used to pick on him all the time ( though he started it sometimes) He was a champion cuddler . He would come in at night to go to bed and he would poked me on the shoulder to lift the blankets, ( Now Monty does this too, gee I wonder where he got that from?)

And although it has been 4 and 3 years since I lost them, I still miss them dearly. I have had a good cry this morning , prayed to God to watch over them until I see them again. I have Monty, Bunny and Milly , and I love them dearly. But  nothing seems to ease the pain of losing my original two babies. I miss them.

Such beautiful pups! They sounded like such a sweet pair. I hope happy memories replace those tears with smiles.

What a lovely picture of your sweet babies. I am sure they are well taken care of over at the Bridge, and they miss you just as much as you miss them!

How sweet.  I know the sadness you are feeling.  That is a beautiful picture.

  • Interests:My main interest is loving and caring for my 2 IG girls, Allie and Riley, as well as my cat, Sabrina. I adore all animals, but I have a passion for IGs. This passion began with my first IG, Tara, who is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I love anything that involves IGs; spending time with Allie and Riley, attending East Coast IG Rescue events, SHOPPING for Allie's and Riley's wardrobes, and of course, communicating with other IG Whispers members. Aside from IGs, my interests include reading a variety of genres and being with friends and family, especially my 13 year old niece, Ella. Professionally, I am a reading specialist for first and second grades. Although I enjoy teaching, the best thing about my job is the long summer vacation, during which I am free to spend endless hours with Allie and Riley.

I'm so sorry, Jeanne. The anniversaries never seem to get any easier. It has been seven years and three days since I lost Tara and her loss still gets to me. Her birthday and the anniversary of her death are tough days. I just love my two girls as much as possible in Tara's memory.
Regards from Deb, Allie (6/1/07), and Riley (2/20/09)
