This is Bellemic, Belle for short. She's 2 1/2 years old and just came into rescue today. She's a sweetie and is getting along with my pack very well. She's very quiet and loves to kiss.

All I know is that Belle was born 9/2007 and she was bought by someone from a breeder in KY. I don't know much about what happened with her between then and the spring of this year, but an elderly lady took her in. I know where ever she was living, she lived with whippets prior to coming to live with the sweet woman who turned her into rescue. I don't know the whole story, but I'm gathering that this lady has fallen on hard times and has some health issues and simply couldn't care for Belle. Her friend step in to help her, and has been my main contact. They did try to take her back to the breeder, but they refused to take her back because she had been spayed, which tells me that they are more interested in money than the welfare of a dog they produced.

In any event, Belle has been well cared for, is current on all her shot, and has a lovely disposition. She loves to kiss, and is warming up to my wild pack of characters. My only issue thus far is that I've not been able to have her potty.....inside or out.

I stand corrected, she just peed on one of the girls blankets.....hmmm, hidden message perhaps.....lol

Ohhhhh......She is just darling. How could you not fall in love with that face? Wish I was in a postion to add another Iggy to my pack. Hope she finds a forever home soon.

What a gorgeous girl. She looks like a complete sweetie pie. We are in the position to get another IG, but we are too far away! Keep us updated- I bet she'll find a home fast.

I'm so glad she has been well cared for. She is so adorable- I hope she gets adopted soon so that you don't get too attached.

oh my, i'm stricken what an absolute doll! I wish you were closed, I think that is one face i could talk my boy friend into... I've already convinced him that he must provide me with an IG this coming Christmas

she is a real cutie! looking how relaxed she is in the picture and looking at her nails you can see this is not your typical rescue dog. wish i had room for one more.
