It's about 5:30 and mom has finally let us return inside. Outside is awful. The white stuff came down in what they call a dusting. HAHA. If it were, would they have closed the schools? That so-called powder is not cool. My feet are cold and my nose is wet and frozen (fyi: it has no smell and tastes like water, don't bother with it).
Nero had the right idea, pulled himself over to the patio and scratched the door. Usually, it works. But today (of all days!), Mom decided we actually had to do our business first before going back indoors. What's up with that? The grass and dirt are covered, I'm not getting my feet further immersed by digging a spot, and all I want is warmth.
I bet she thinks we're insulated. Clearly she's not, with her big sweater and her coat all zipped up with the hood on. I think I even saw her suck her hands into her coat for more warmth.
